This R100S is a two owner motorcycle! I have owned it for about 16 years and the original owner owned it for about the same. The motor has never been touched except to lower the compression around 1980. It was meant to run on 100 octane fuel and that was discontinued around that time. The clutch is new, less than 5000 miles. The bike is fitted with a rare two into one Luftmeister exhaust system. Very nice tone, the quiet original system goes with the bike as well. I have used the clear fairing with leg protection while I have owned the bike. It will go with the bike. A Luftmeister frame mount fixed faring is going with the bike as well. That will need paint and a new windshield. The only negative issue on this BMW is the black lacquer under the clear coat, it is starting to craze in spots.
