1981 Honda Passport C70. This a barn find with only a bit over 1100 miles on it. This is in very good condition with some minor flaws from being in storage. I have replaced the original carburetor with and OEM type from Dr. ATV. The original had been somewhat "hacked" by the previous owner's brother, a "motorcycle mechanic". The original carburetor is included in this auction. The start button does not work. I believe that is due to a faulty neutral safety sensor in the transmission. I have bench tested the starter solenoid and it works fine. The bike starts the first kick with the manual kick starter and purrrs like a kitten. There are minor scratches in several places on the bike from storage. There is some minor impact damage to the far lower edge of the rear fender. There is some minor rust on the front cargo rack, there is some minor rust pitting on the exhaust. There are a few minor surface rust spots throughout the bike from years of storage. The tires are in good condition, not cracked and with good tread reflecting the low mileage. They may not be original. The original tool kit and owner's manual is in the left side cover. As I said, I replaced the carburetor with an exact OEM replacement and I have installed a new battery. Other than that, I have just cleaned the years of grime off of it. That is all. Please be aware that I got this from a local sale and have limited knowledge of it but I will answer all questions to the best of my ability. This bike always starts on the first kick and idles smoothly. This bike runs strong when riding, the transmission shifts through all three gears effortlessly, all brakes work correctly, the turn signal and brake lights work correctly and the horn works as it should. The headlight does need to be replaced and that can be purchased through Dr. ATV. Look at the photos.
