This is a re-listing. I am listing with a buy now option, please see details below. I am the second owner of a 1982 CJ-8 Jeep Scrambler. I purchased the Jeep in 2006. The previous owner had used the Jeep as his main vehicle from 1982-1996 in Southern California. From 1996-2006 it was garage kept. I purchased it with the understanding that it needed to be restored. I put a new 6 cylinder engine in with a 3-speed auto transmission with less that 3K miles on the new engine. This jeep has been a summer farm vehicle for the last 6 years and spent the winters parked in the barn. It comes with a hard top and hard doors, a custom rear bumper (not installed), and a CLEAR TITLE in my name. The buyer is responsible for the transfer of title. The body is straight except for some minor off road scar below the rear passenger side quarter panel (not too noticeable) and a scratch on the front panel of the passenger side. The seat covers are covering the original upholstery - there is some tears on the driver's side seat.There is NO rust on this vehicle other than the windshield. That includes the under carriage and floorboards being RUST FREE. Also the vehicle comes with half doors, not pictured, but they go with the Jeep. Upon purchase I had every intent to rebuild this vehicle from the ground up. It never happened and it is a prime candidate for a rebuild.
