For sale is this beautiful 2003 Jaguar X Type 2.5L, exceptionally clean as you can see from the photos, and in excellent operating condition. The engine starts quickly, runs smooth and never burns a drop of oil. I am selling this car on behalf of the estate of its original owner, who had it periodically serviced by Jaguar since new. In fact, there are no mechanical issues except that the remote key does not work (the second remote key has been lost). The interior is in excellent condition, with no cracks, tears or blemishes on the leather or wood. The carpeting also is excellent with no tears, stains or holes. Nobody has ever smoked in this car. There are a few cosmetic defects on the exterior that can be seen in the photos. The paint on the hood has checked and formed tiny lines that can be seen only when viewed close up at a direct angle. A picture of this is included in the photos, but the marks are so faint they did not photograph very well. Next there is a small rust spot, about the size of a quarter, forming at the edge of the left rear wheel well, and a small indentation on the hood near the ornament. These are photographed as well. There may also be a few hairline scratches consistent with its age but nothing significant other than the photographed items. The car is offered WITHOUT RESERVE. A $500.00 deposit must be paid within 24 hours of the end of the auction, or the buyer will be considered in default and the car will be offered to the next highest bidder.
