It drives very good, has excelent brakes, good clutch, easy shifting 5 speed manual transmission.

Pininfarina built the Coupe for Lancia, but the limited-production Spider would only get in the way at Pininfarina's Chivasso factory. Therefore, complete, unpainted Coupe bodyshells were transported 70 miles to Milan and modified by Zagato. These were returned to Pininfarina for anti-corrosion treatment, then to Zagato for painting and interior and finally back to Chivasso for the engine and transmission!

The Zagato's handsome profile turns heads today, in part due to its scarcity. Only 9600 were built, with about 2100 coming stateside. In 1982, Lancia's last year in the States, 764 were sold.

This Lancia was kept in the garage for many years. The leather seat dried and tread line cracked. The rear top plastic window tread is also dried and the window detached. The rear deck vinyl is also cracked from simply staying in the heat for that long.

We towed the vehicle to our shop, flushed the fuel system, clean the tank and installed a new fuel pump. We replaced all the fluids in the vehicle and started the engine. It runs smooth, is fast and has a good transmission. We buffed the paint to bring back original shine. The paint is factory original. Nosigns of body work.

The car is drivable right now, and you can drive it cross country with confidence. It needs upholstery and top.
