This is a 1948 Ford F1. I'm helping out the owner - sell it. Walt is not good with computers. I am good with computers so I put it up for sale for him. Here is what Walt told me about the Truck: Notes about the Truck: I bought this Truck up in Canada 10 years ago. It has a completely rebuilt flathead V-8 Engine. It has a bigger engine than the trucks that were produced in the US. It has a 4-speed manual transmission. It has brand new wood in the back. It has fresh new paint, no bondo, all metal.I completed the restoration 1 year ago and it has been garaged since. It had 35K miles before the restoration. The odometer was reset to 0 after the rebuild. Now it has just 50 miles. Everything is original or factory correct. The paint is the original color. The only non original part is an electric windshield wiper. I tried 3 different period correct vacuum wipers and none of them worked. (I do still have that original part). I have photos of the truck before the restoration. This is an F1 but says F47 on the side. Not sure if that was something they did in Canada No AC, but it has a heater.
