This is a unique beautiful classic in many ways: Attractive classic body style; Rare 6 Cylinder engine (mostly are V12!); Red and Black; only 60,000 Original Miles; all in excellent condition, cosmetically and mechanically! I bought this car 5 years ago with the intentions to keep for good! I had searched for this specific model and condition! I had it professionally stripped and painted the original color; the existing paint was faded, no scratches or dents! I drove it only occasionally for less than 2 years, and then moved overseas permanently, where I live now. I travel to the U.S. once a year for 2-3 weeks and get to drive my Jaguar; so , basically not being driven the whole year! It is always parked in a private garage and covered; paint is like new, not a top top quality, but attractive enough to get praises and questions everytime I stop at a gas startion or happen to bump into someone! The car is awsome, cool, classic, and eye catching! And beautiful! I will be returning and flying out of LA on July 3rd; so if it is sold on ebay, the "lucky buyer" MUST pay for and pick up his/her new Jaguar WITHIN 3 DAYS OF THE AUCTION CLOSE; no delays, Sorry! Exterior: In excellent condition; already talked about the paint! All the chrome and plastics are there, tires are practically new, wheels are attractive, so are windows and the rest! Interior: All the leather are in great condition; no tear and ware, no holes on the seats, back rest, dash, or the door pannels; the headliner is like new; all the switches and knobs and handles are great; carpet is great! .... All the gauges work properly, A/c blows cold, all powere windows, door locks, and seat work; cruise control works, and everything else! Console is perfect; the wood on the dash has a slight surface crack, but nothing to bother! Mechanical: My Jaguar runs very strong and powerful with its 6 cyl. engine, it is responsive and very tight; transmission shifts very smoothly; the horn, cruise control, wipers, etc. are in proper order! The NEGATIVES: 1. All the shocks need to be replaced! My Jaguar mechanic in Newport Beach said he'll order and replace all the 6 shocks for $1,500 (there are 4 shocks in the rear!) If I keep the car and drive it all the time, I WOULD replace them; but with my 2-week per year driving, I did not and will not replace them! You SHOULD! ..... 2. The registration being due, and after 2 years here in California, NOW the SMOG test has taken a turn in the worst way, and the Gov. has made it much more difficult to pass!! I never had a problem before, now I do! The professional experienced tester, without knowing my situation, asked me if the car had been parked and not driven! He said that was the reason why it failed the smog test; and it needs to be driven , and driven hard! I will NOT, do not have the time anymore! So, California buyers, BE AWARE! You Just need to drive it hard and long and get it passed; that would be your responsibility! I will SELL THE JAGUAR WITHOUT A SMOG CERTIFICATE; THE BUYER IN CALIFORNIA WOULD HAVE TO GET IT ON THEIR OWN! .... The out of state buyers would NOT have to worry about it!! I WOULD take the car right now, middle of the night (2:30 a.m.) and drive it to New York, with no hesitation!
