Dune Buggy Barn Find This buggy was found sitting in a barn where it sat for quite a few years covered in dust and feed sacks. It was drug out put new gas in it and a new battery, fired it up, built in the late 70`s this fiberglass dune buggy is on a full length 1967 Volkswagen pan with 4cyl engine and 4 speed transmission that runs great does smoke a little when first start it up probably from sitting so long but is a strong runner, has all working lights including turn signals ,new tires on front, paint is showing its age but still looks good, the underneath has been cleaned and floor pans checked out good but at some point the were repaired do not know when but are solid. All brakes work well stops on a dime. Gas tank has been replaced with a spun aluminum tank hold about 8 gallons. This particular body type is a rare pickup type and not many of these around.
