Vehicle Detail
1970 Buick Riviera, this car is equipped with a very powerful 455 cubic inch engine which has more torque than the hemis that were used by Dodge in 1970, this body style was made only one year so that makes this car fairly rare, it is in good running condition, the engine is strong and fast, the transmission shifts great, it does have some play in the steering, the steering box needs to be replaced (I have a replacement, it just needs to be installed), it has dual exhausts which sound great the body is in pretty good shape, there is no exterior rust or dents, the frame and floor pans are solid, there is some surface rust in the trunk, but no rust holes, as you can see in the pictures, the headlight bezel is not attached, I do have a headlight bezel for the car (see picture), I am just waiting for the screws and clips to be shipped, also the reason that the driver's side skirt is not attached is because it needs a post installed on the inner quarter so that it will fit securely, it can be attached now and will stay on but, I didn't want to take any chances so I took it off, both bumpers are in good shape, the back bumper has a small amount of corrosion (see picture) the interior is in good original condition, the driver's seat has separated along some of the seams, the passenger and rear seats are in good shape, the dash does not have any cracks in it, but some of the material around the gauges has came unglued (see picture), the carpet is in pretty good original condition, both door panels are in good shape, a trim piece that goes around the driver's side inner door handle is missing (see picture), the headliner is in pretty good shape with NO rips or tears I have owned this car for almost three years, it has been garaged since I have had it and driven only periodically on dry spring or summer days, I believe that it was a southern car based on the condition of the body, during the fall and winter months when I go out to start it, it always starts up very easily, even on the coldest days, the car does have air conditioning, but it does not blow cold
