Please note: it is being sold on a bill of sale only. The previous registration was in Rhode Island, and this vehicle is able to be retitled. This vehicle features the original 5.7 Litre V-8 engine connected to a automatic gearbox. This is the last year before the introduction of the problematic "cross fire" injection. The vehicle starts right up, runs great, shifts fine and drives very well. We bought the car as a donor vehicle for another restoration but it is simply too nice to part out. The car features the original mirrored T-Tops, optional alloy wheels, gauges and a tan leather interior, that compliments the attractive burgundy color. The wipers, power mirrors and power seat all work very well. The radio, however, is in need of repair. Also, only one of the power windows is in working order. We, at The Burt Collection, particularly like the last of the C3s. They drive well and are very retro now. This car although needing work, would be the perfect first collector Vette. Perhaps a great father/son restoration. She will need some paint and some interior work, but could suffice as a driver. The frame appears to be very solid. Frame rust is an issue on all C3s, and, aside from surface rust, it appears to be just fine. You'll need new tires soon but the car is original. 1981 was a great year for Corvettes. Please refer to the pictures. We are under new management and will make every effort to answer all calls and every email. We will gladly take additional pictures and strongly encourage in person inspections. The car is sold AS-IS - due to it's age. We have no reason to believe that the mileage is not accurate, but have no way to verify that it is. Again, she does need some work, but I believe that you can drive it as you are working on her. We do have all of the the paperwork from Rhode Island including a bill of sale and previous registration. In Rhode Island, there is no requirement to title a car that is 10 years old or older. Of course we will pass on copies of all of this paperwork to the buyer. Note: All buyers are expected to have read and follow the sale terms.
