1948 DeSoto Suburban 4 Door You do not see many of these cars around anymore. I got this car from a family of a man who passed away. It has sat for some time. It was driven into the place it was parked in 2006. The 6 cylinder Flathead engine turns free by hand. Has newer coil and 6V battery. I have not tired to get it going. I am selling it not running. The car has fluid drive. The body of the car needs work on the floors and rockers. Also the front corners of the doors. The seats are torn, the extra rear ones are in good shape. The roof rack is there and missing the piece on the passenger side, probably can be fabricated. All 4 tires hold air and car rolls easily. The car has the two extra seats in back. Also the wooden spare tire cover in trunk is in good shape. You will not find another one of these around any time soon. I have a title for the car as well as a service manual. The title is not in my name by is open in the buyer line to whoever purchases it. The car would be a great restoration project!!! Please look closely at pics. This car is 65 years old and is really cool. The car is being sold as is where is. Not running and for restoration repair. Must be picked up in Grimesland NC 27837 at my home.
