Vehicle Detail
This is a true 440 six pack V code Charger R/T, B5 Blue with white vinyl top and automatic transmission. Everything on this car has been gone through front to back; it was built to drive and enjoy. The engine is non-numbers matching but properly date coded while the transmission is numbers matching. It still has its original fender tag and the rear end is an 8¾ inch sure grip with 3.23 gears. All the sheet metal is original except for lower quarter panels and everything works properly. This Charger R/T is driven year round in good weather and has been driven from the Seattle area to Spring Fling in Van Nuys, California twice and several times to Central British Columbia and Vancouver Island. It has won numerous car show awards at shows in Washington State and British Columbia, Canada (including 1st place this weekend at the All-Mopar Spring Roundup in Seattle). Have tons and tons of receipts for the car, please ask if you want more info on work done. The car runs and drives very well and I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. The car is originally from Idaho which is a very dry climate that is great for these old Mopars. I purchased the car in the fall of 2004 just after it was painted. The nine year old paint still looks very fresh. The car is very original but a few options have been added like hood turn signals, a six way manual driver’s seat, and I upgraded the original AM radio to AM/FM with an auxiliary hookup for iPod connection. Dual rear speakers in the front and back were also added, while still looking 100% stock. It’s nice having tunes you can actually hear while on those road trips. I have over $60,000 invested with all records and receipts. The car gets numerous thumbs up wherever I drive it and has had its picture taken frequently at cruise-ins and car shows. It’s a stunning looking car that stands out wherever it goes. Work I’ve done and replacement items include in addition to the above: Alternator Accurate exhaust system, Roseburg, Oregon Starter motor Realtime Engineering tic-toc clock and tac Realign drive shaft Replaced upper door panels , front and rear, and dash wood grain trim Brand new carburetors 4 core radiator rebuild When the transmission was rebuilt a custom torque converter was installed and an extra deep pan was added. The transmission shifts effortlessly under any circumstance whether cruising or under power. The fender tag decodes as follows from the first line to the top: E87 – 440-6 Pack Motor D32 – 727 Automatic Transmission XS29V0G110182 – VIN Number EB5 – B5 Medium Blue C6B5 – B5 Blue Interior with Buckets EB5 – B5 Blue Upper Door Frame Color SPD – August 22, 1970 Build Date 035364 – Vehicle Order Number V1W – White Vinyl Top C16 – Console C55 – Bucket Seats G33 – Driver Side Remote Mirror J25 – 3 Speed Wipers J45 – Hood Pins M21 – Drip Rail Moldings M31 – Belt Moldings N85 – Tach R11 - AM Radio V8W – White Bumble Bee Stripe END – End of codes I am only selling this car to buy a convertible, always wanted one and have one lined up to buy. Please e-mail me to set up an appointment to see the car. The car is located in Kirkland, Washington, which is about 20 minutes east of Seattle, Washington. Every effort has been made to make an accurate description of this car, but some things were probably missed. This is an awesome car and we would not be afraid to drive it anywhere.
