2012 Suzuki GSXR1000 motorcycle. This bike has many performance upgrades including LeoVince Titanium & carbon fiber full exhaust and Bazazz FIQS fuel injection quick shift computer. It also has a Shorai lithium ion battery. This all black sport bike also has Carbon Fiber fairing trim that has the high gloss black finish with the carbon fiber pattern. Thousands of dollars had been spent on the upgrades. Due to the performance upgrades, it is the bidders responsibility to check with their local DMV transportation authority to determine if the bike is street legal or for off-road use only. Seller represents the bike as for off-road track use only in its current configuration. This GSXR 1000 was a local Sheriff seizure, impounded vehicle. I purchased the bike from the Sheriff's department. It is too much motorcycle for me (and the tremendous power actually scared me), so I am selling it. Per the sheriff, the original owner was running from the law and at the end of the chase, he jumped off the bike and ran on foot until he was apprehended. The carbon fiber tail fairing (right side) was cracked and has been replaced with a new carbon fiber tail. The Sheriff department did not know how to get the mileage reading to come up on the odometer, so they filled in the odometer statement as 0 (zero) miles and "not actual miles" when the title was issued to the Sheriff dept. When I bought the bike from the Sheriff, the actual miles of 2353 miles was showing and they sold it as 2353 actual miles, but the title still shows "not actual miles" carried over from the first title. I do not have any other parts. Only the bike as seen in the pictures is what I have. This is a great looking GSX-R1000 bike and the all black with carbon fiber is very sexy. It is in great condition but not perfect. The F1 light stays on (per Bazazz, the Quick Shift computer will make the F1 light turn on, but does not affect the performance of the engine). It is being sold as-is. $500 deposit is due within 48 hrs of auction close and final payment must be made within 7 days of auction close. If these payments are not made, I will cancel the sale. I prefer buyer to pick it up in person and pay the balance at that time. Inspection of the bike here in Livingston TX prior to end of auction is encouraged. If buyer arranges and pays for shipping, I am willing to have it shipped as long as cleared certified funds are received prior to shipping. Please ask any questions.
