1931 FORD 5 WINDOW 2 DOOR COUPE CUSTOM STREETROD Chopped, channeled and cool! This real deal ALL STEEL ’31 Ford 5 window coupe has only 81 test miles since completion of custom build in June 2013! Blending yesteryear look with modern day performance goodies this car was literally engineered and built from the ground up by a couple of experienced and seasoned hot rodders whose talents complement each other at every turn of the wrench. Folks, this is a very high quality car built by professionals. It is laser straight with panels fitting as they should and doors opening and closing as they should. Using original metal panels as their pattern, this car was rebuilt using brand new metal (since nobody makes '31 replacement quarters for a coupe the quarters had to be sectioned from a ’31 roadster). From there, more fabrication included crafting the steel roof insert, new door skins, new cowl panel, sun visor, rear deck panel, louvers added to deck panel and chopping and channeling the car 4”. Inside the cockpit is as neat as a pin both visually appealing and functional. (Note the clean placement of cool hot rod goodies such as the fuse and toggle panel smartly relocated near the dash gauges which constantly monitor the cars vitals). The rich ultra leather upholstered seats, door panels and headliner was handled by one of the best in the business and it could not have turned out better! On the outside, the paint was selected from Toyota’s palette. The modern color (Silver Sky Effect) combined with all the chrome on this car, to include the '50s flashback chrome reverse wheels, all tastefully add to the iconic look that has inspired hot rodders from the early days. Best of all the sheet metal, drive train, electrical components, brakes, hardware, bushings, and gaskets are all new and the car runs as drives just as you want it to!
