This listing is for a very nice 1986 Honda Rebel CMX250C with less than 8,000 miles. Very clean, see the pictures, has one dime size ding and some scratches on the right side of the gas tank. No mechanical problems, original owner, has always been garaged. This style of Rebel 250 was introduced in 1985 and was produced from 1985 through 1987. Honda also produced the Rebel 450 during years 1986 and 1987. Contoversy with Harley Davidson, because of their look and sound, was one of the reasons for discontinuing both models after 1987. Honda resumed production of the Rebel 250 in 1996 and continues to produce them to this day. However, many believe that the earlier 80's models are the most desirable because of their distinctive look and history. The Rebel 450 was never resurrected and in time may become a collector's item. This bike is ideal for the new rider because of it's lower stance, allowing just about any rider to have both feet flat on the ground while stopped. It is easy to ride and maneuver, yet fast enough to stay with bigger bikes and great gas mileage of about 60mpg. This is also a great bike to take your states motorcycle road test. This Rebel is blue in color with new tires and saddle bag bars and cruise control and ready to ride. This is a great bike with the Harley look and in great condition. Also included are the sissy bar.
