Vehicle Detail

I have a 1968 Chevy Nova , the car is in great shape, its been parked in my garage for the 6 years, The car has 6 point chromoly cage. Dana 60 rearend made by Drive Train Specialist to fit a nova, its has 3/73 rear gears with a Strange full spool with a aluminum rearend girdle cover . The car's rear suspension is setup with Cal Trac dual leaf springs and Cal Trac bars, and QA1 rear shocks. The front suspension is stock except front moroso trick springs and 90/10 shocks. The upper and lower control arms have been freshened up with new bushings. The car is setup with an aluminum fuel cell in the trunk with a working fuel sending unit,, the batteries is in the trunk with a kill switch and red optima battery. The car has front gm disk brakes and drum rear brakes. The car has Weld Racing Prostars rims in the front and Summit Racing Aluminum Prostar designed rims in the rear. The car was restored and painted in 2000. The car has a 2.5 inch fiberglass cowl induction hood. This listing may show that the car has a 5.7 liter 350 motor but it doesn't its has a 406, the motor info is listed below, I couldn't figure out how to list the car without putting that in there The car comes with a 406 small block chevy The block is a 509 casting 2 bolt gm 400 block, if you know about 400 this is the block you want Eagle forged rotating assembly4340 Steel Crank4340 H Beam RodsSRP Forged Pistons Brodix Track 1 Heads Crane chrome moly roller rockersCrane stud girdle Herbert Solid Roller Cam part number c6kf, the cam is designed for a small NOS plate system, its has never been sprayed .598- .625 lift cam Team G intake Holley 750 cfm carb, with a proform main body Hooker super comp headers aluma coated, 1 7/8 pipes, 3.5 inch pipe to dynatech muffles with down dumpsThe motor has 20 passes on it and 500 to 1500 miles since it was built around 2005. I drove the car to the local car shows around town and put her back in the garage. In the pictures below I have posted a pic of the rotating assembly tech card from eagle. I have never had the motor on a dyno id say the motor produces around 500 -550hp, the car ran 11.39 @ 119 mphall motor with drag radials in the 1/4 mile. The car is setup with an MSD 6AL ignition system, MSD adjustable rev limiter, MSD distributor, MSD Blaster 3 coil. The car has an aluminum radiator with an aluminum water pump with electric fan setup on a manual switch that's tided in with the electric fan for the tranny cooler. The car is setup with a turbo 400 transmission36 element sprag manual valve body 4500 stall COAN converterIt has a separate tranny cooler with a fan and its setup with a Cheetah Shifter The interior is black with matching front and rear black vinyl seats, the dash is also covered with black vinyl. If your looking to turn heads this is the car it sounds great, if your looking to embarrass the guy that thinks he cool in his corvette this is the car, the car was built to go straight and fast. With a pair of drag radials this car hooks pretty quick on the street if driven properly, if not it will spin the tires until you let out of the gas. I've grown up and have other things on my mind besides spending money on the car, this was my car in high school, after high school I spend a lot of money building the motor and doing suspension work. The car has been sitting in the garage for the last 6 years, I just recently put it back together. This car wasn't built with mommy and daddies money, I have taken care of this care, if I broke it, I fixed it, therefore I didn't break it. I put many hours working to pay for everything in this car. Over the 14 years I've owned it I can count the number of nights its slept out of the garage on my hand, I have taken care of this car, I pulled the motor and put it in a Malibu,I didn't care for the Malibu so I put the motor back in the Nova where its was sitting for the last 2.5years until 3 months ago when I put the car back together. Feel free to call the number below to ask any questions. Call me if you have any questions 772 633 9101. The Nova Is Sold As Is Buyer Is Responsible For Pickup The car doesn't leave until all funds are paid in FULL. I will not discus the reserve amount, this is an auction please don't call and ask what the reserve price is or what I will take for the car, bid what you can afford, it takes money to build a car like this, as many of you know, Im not giving the car away I KNOW what your bidding for and its a nice ass car that gets down with a nice set of drag radials on the street. Thanks for your time. On Jun-05-13 at 12:12:59 PDT, seller added the following information: Hello I have had some calls about the converter, yes it is a 4500 stall converter, but the car drives like any other street car, give it some throttle and the car moves at 1500 RPM, If you take the car to the track and hold the brake and bring the RPM'S up the car doesn't move, I use to drive the car to the local car show and I would cruise the beach with it. I never took the car on any road trips. I can tell you the car cruises around town just fine. I don't feel the car would have any trouble cruising for miles down the road but I never wanted to foot that gas bill. The motor like's pump gas and lots of it when cruising. On Jun-08-13 at 07:30:32 PDT, seller added the following information: I also have the original gas tank that goes with the car. I have the A/C control switch that goes with the car. I have the original limited slip rear end chunk that came in the Dana 60 when I got it from DTS. I also have a second exhaust system that goes with the car, 2.5 pipes with Turbo mufflers, it tames the sound of the car, if you want to hold back the Rat Slayer under the hood.On Jun-08-13 at 08:06:31 PDT, seller added the following information: I have a stock turbo 400 valve body that I took out to put the reverse manual valve body in. I have a brand new set of stock replacement front springs if you don't like the moroso trick springs, they were purchased before I put the trick springs in years ago, still in the box they were shipped in. If your worried the car isn't streetable, I have everything you need to to make it as streetable as you want. I also have some other miscellaneous parts buckets that go with the car if you want them. I have some of the original A/C duct, it may all be there I don't know.On Jun-08-13 at 08:14:09 PDT, seller added the following information: I also have the original mono leaf spring's that came out of the car when I put the Calvert split mono setup in the car. I have the piece of the trunk that I cut out in order to put the fuel cell in, it can be welded back in, if you don't like the fuel cell. If you don't like the rear end stud girdle cover on the rear end I also have the stock cover the came with the rear end from DTS. I have the original spear tire and jack in my garage. If you have any questions feel free to call.
