For sale by owner is this 2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LS Z71. Adult owned and well maintained. This truck is in great condition inside and out. It has the LS trim and Z71 package. This truck has a perfect Carfax Report (See below). No accidents or issues. Truck has never been abused or mistreated, driven by one adult driver, me. This truck drives perfect with no issues. I've never hauled anything more than 2 Harleys a couple times a year. This truck is daily driven and super reliable with no issues or problems. No leaks, no smoke, no dash warning lights, no weird smells, nothing. It starts right up every time and idles great. The 5.3L Vortec engine runs very smooth with no issues. The engine is quiet with no weird noises. This truck has great power and at only 138K miles, its barely broke in. I've seen these trucks with the 5.3L still running strong with super high miles. I'm very easy on this truck to get the best miles per gallon. Its not the best on gas, but its not the worst. I average 14 mpg city and 17 mpg highway. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly through all gears. The exhaust is quiet with no leaks. The suspension is nice and tight with no weird noises. The brakes work great with no weird noises. There is a very slight pulsation in the brake pedal when applying the brakes. Its not harsh or overbearing, its just barely there. This truck is easy to drive with a very comfortable ride. No crazy slop in the steering. No pulling left or right. There are no steering wheel shakes or shimmies at any speeds. It drives straight down the road with no issues. This truck handles great in the snow. 4 wheel drive works perfect. I've never been stuck. This truck has spent all of its life in the Midwest, which means it has the common Chevy rust. I have taken great care of this truck and its super reliable. It can be trusted to go anywhere. It drives great on the highway. I drove to Tennessee last month with no problems. Just set the cruise at 70 and it just floats. Cruise control works perfect. The heat works great. The A/C is nice and cold. Blower motor works on every setting. Both power windows work perfect. The keyless entry and alarm works perfect. Both Power Mirrors work great. Everything on this truck works and works great! Nothing is broken or missing. This truck has premium Infinity speakers installed which sound great and the stock CD player works perfect. All the dash lighting works great. There are no burnt out bulbs anywhere. Every exterior light, dash light, and button lights illuminate correctly. All the dash gauges operate properly. Once in a while the gas gauge will read empty for a split second, but it goes right back to the correct reading. Its a common GM issue with this generation Silverado. It has to do with the floater inside the gas tank. The floater measures the level of fuel. The fix is a new floater, which is a part on the fuel pump assembly and it can be purchased separately, but it doesn't malfunction enough to warrant a replacement. If it doesn't bother me then chances are it won't bother you because I am very particular with my truck. This Silverado has a lot of life left. With proper maintenance and a responsible owner, there's no reason this truck shouldn't hit 300K miles. Only selling because purchasing a new truck. The exterior is in great condition and very clean. The 2 Tone Red and Silver paint still shines very nice. This truck is always kept clean. There are no chips or cracks in the windshield. The paint is all original. This truck has no major dents, scratches, or damage. It does have 3 small minor dings and some small scratches throughout. I took pictures of the door dings (see photos below), but none of the minor scratches could be captured by my camera. All the wheels are clean with very little wear on them. The headlights, turn signals, and fog lights look great with no cracks, haze, or discoloration. There are a few rock chips on the hood. The tailgate is perfect with no dents or scratches and the bed rails have very little wear. This truck has rust on the rocker panels and rear fenders. The chrome bumpers have no rust, dents, or damage. The trim on the bumpers look great and its always treated with Black Magic so there's no fading. The Delta Toolbox is in great condition and works perfect (comes with 2 keys). The chrome rear license plate lights are new and work perfect. Overall, this is a very clean truck. Please see photos below. The interior is super clean. The gray cloth seats look great with no rips or stains. The carpet is very clean with no holes or major stains. The steering wheel has very little wear, it almost looks new. The dash, door panels, and headliner are very clean with no cracks or damage. All the seat belts are intact and work perfect. The center console/armrest is in great condition with no damage. It opens and closes perfect and it still has the mini flip up clipboard to write notes! All interior buttons and gadgets are intact with no damage or missing pieces. No missing button covers on the radio! I replaced them. Every power option and gadget works perfect. Both power seats work great, the radio works perfect, the dome light, map lights, courtesy lights, and cargo light works perfect, both power windows work great, A/C blows cold, Keyless Entry works great, everything works. Overall the interior is super clean and everything works 100%! Also, the engine bay is super clean as well. No missing covers or caps. No broken parts. Looks really nice and clean under the hood. This Silverado has the LS trim and Z71 package, so its nicely equipped. Some of the options are 2 Tone Paint, 5.3L Vortec V8 engine, Automatic Transmission, 4 Wheel Drive, 4 Wheel ABS, Power Windows with Auto Driver, Power Doors Locks, Cruise Control, Power Steering, Tilt Wheel, AM/FM Stereo, In-dash CD Player, Premium Sound, Dual Airbags, Dual Power Seats, 3rd Door, Bed Liner, Delta Diamond Plate Toolbox with Keys, Towing Package, Alloy Wheels, Privacy Glass, Keyless Entry, Factory Alarm, Window Rain Guards, Center Console/Armrest (it folds up to seat 6!), Full Size Spare Mounted under bed with 75% tread left, Oem Jack and Tools behind rear seat, ect, ect..
