I am selling my beautiful 2001 Land Rover Discovery II. This car ran perfectly up until about a month ago, when the front drive shaft slipped and rotated and cracked the transmission. Now the car is not drivable, because I have opted to sell it instead of fixing it. This car would be a great project for someone who loves Land Rovers as the engine is solid and just had the head gaskets replaced. The tires are brand new, the interior and exterior of the car is in good condition. The body is straight, no dents. The doors, panel and hood are solid. Very minimal paint oxidation on the roof of the truck. All the glass is in great shape. The engine alone is worth 1k and I spent at least 1k on the tires. If you are looking for parts this would be a great option for you as well. Please contact me with any questions. I have all the paperwork from the maintenance that has been done on the truck. The oil was changed regularly and on time. I maintained this car very well as it was a treat to own and to drive. When I purchased this car it has about 50,000 miles on it. I am the second owner. The first owner was a businessman out of Los Angeles who spent half his time in Costa Rica. He also took great care of the car.
