Here is my 2002 honda 400ex atv. It was bought brand new in 2002 by my cousin and he rode it every other weekend that summer of 02' then moved to Arizonia with it and said he rode it one time down there, then moved home rode it a few times at his parents place in country road ditches, then wanted a yamaha 450 atv, so he sold this hardly used 400ex to me, and since I had family with forest trail type land.... I bought it in 2006 and rode the trails maybe half a dozen times that summer, the next summer the family member passed away and the land was sold, so i have maybe rode the atv 4-5 more times since then, out in those same country ditches as my buddy. It has since been stored in my heated garage and always plugged in to keep battery charged. Regular oil change every spring and I take it around the block every once in awhile to keep it running tiptop, but havent loaded it in a truck for any day ridings in years, so I have decided its time for somone else to have it. My cousin was a toolmaker for a trade and made the nerf bars for it at his work, they are made of steel pipe and are strong protection, it does have a slip on white brother exhuast which sounds pretty throaty, its has a k&n filter, other than that it is completely stock and not screwed with. Take a look at the header exhaust... that should give you a good indication on just how rarely this thing got dirty... most of them you see are rusted!! It does have some scratches and blemishes from trail riding, but for a 11 year old quad it will be hard to find one in better shape with low hours. Overall it shifts great, runs great, and brakes great... if want a quad to hit the trails this summer I would take a good look at this one. Sold as-is with Clear title in hand.
