Vehicle Detail
For sale is a 1972 suzuki GT750J Waterbuffalo .Frame # GT750 20432 Engine # 20559. It was built in 2/72. 14,682 miles. All original. It was a one owner bike. It was stored since 1989. The carburetors where cleaned. The gas tank looks great inside. New spark plugs. Battery and fresh oil. And the bike fired right up. It was stored with oil down the cylinders, so did smoke in the begging. Still does smoke but not excessive. To make the bike 100 percent will need more fine tuning to make it perfect again. Brakes seems to work, both front and back. All of the electronics work except for the horn(horn is missing). Also the electric start does not seem to engage. Just sounds like a spinning noise when the button is pressed. As far as the condition goes, it is not a show bike by any means, but a good rider or mild restore. The paint looks great, but is not perfect. Gas tank has a ding on the right side, see picture. Covers have some paint chips but no cracks. There was small crack in the right radiator cover. Some paint flaking around the fork ears, where the blinkers go in. Again I'm trying to describe the bike to the best of my ability, not to talk it down but to be honest about its condition. Rear fender looks good with no dents. The seat has no rips. Looks a little lifted in the rear back section. Tires look good, but are not the originals. Front fender has a small crease/ding. Top right exhaust has a few dings towards the back, see picture. Other than that the pipes have no holes. Sorry no tool kit or owners manual. To make the bike a bit more presentable i would get a new front fender and a horn. Overall the chrome does have pitting and some rust but shines nicely. Over all it is a very nice rider with a bit more work. Please email if you have any questions. The bike must be out and payed for within 10 days of close of auction. sold as is. I am a registered NYS Motorcycle dealer,Vintage motorcycle sales only. If you are a NYS resident you are subject to pay sales tax. Also the Bike is not currently NYS inspected so if you are a NYS resident please contact me before you bid. Good luck bidding.
