Four wheel drive works but I haven't taken it off road since I bought it in November. There are a few dents, dings & scratches (dashboard cracked & driver's side wind screen broken) but I repaired the worst dent by replacing the entire passenger side bedside. I have also replaced the battery (Sears Die Hard) even though the old one was working (you can have the old one as backup). The lady opened her door and dented the passenger side bedside (which is why it is listed above as repaired & replaced). The repair work was done by Collex (I have all paperwork) and all new OEM parts were used.
