I had this car previously listed as a Triumph GT6 and the buyer backed out of the sale. Through the posting I discovered a lot about the car. It is actually a Spitfire with a hood from a GT6+ and with a 6 cylinder swap. Refered to as a Spit 6. The pictures you see here are from the original posting. The car is registered, insured and has a current NYS inspection. I have a clear title. The engine and drive train are in good shape, no leaks, no smoke and no weird noises. There was only surface rust. I sanded and repainted the whole car. I have driven the car around a hundred miles, total since buying it during the winter last year. During the restoration I found a TR6 and decided I liked it more. Here's your opportunity to finish what I started. The car needs someone that wants a fun car to drive and has the time and money to completly restore it to the original condition or to what ever the heart desires.
