This auction is for a 1980 Chrysler Newport. The car is white with a white vinyl top, and red vinyl interior. It is in decent condition with some rust through around the rear wheels and some surface rust in other spots. It has a 318 with a mopar RV cam, aluminum intake, 625 cfm Carter AFB carb, and factory electronic ignition with an MSD coil and Mopar Orange box. It has stainless steel exhaust pipes from a pair 1996 Dodge dakota exhaust manifolds to the mufflers (the mufflers and rear hangers need to be replaced). It has a 904 trans that was rebuilt around 80,000 miles with a low gear set but its starting to slip a little It has a newer mini starter. It has an 8.25" rear end with 11" drums, and rear swaybar. It has solid mounts on the front sub frame for inproved handling. The dash has a certified 125 MPH speedometer, and an autometer tach installed in place of a warning light and a modern Dodge (2000) am/fm radio. It has HD brake booster and power steering pump cooler. The front tires are in good shape and the rear tires need to be replaced and it has a full size spare tire. I also have two nice front fenders, right front door, bumpers, trunk lid and more extra parts. I wanted to restore it to look like an unmarked squad car but I have too many projects and not enough time. It would look nice with some cop car rims and dog dish hub caps (not included). This car runs and drives but does need work. These cars are becoming hard to find. It is being sold as is with no warrany. If this car does not sell soon I will be stripping and scrapping it. A pay pal deposit of $500 must be made within 24 hours after the end of auction and the balance must be paid in full before the car can be picked up. The car needs to be picked up with in 7 days after the end of auction unless other arrangements have been made. This vehicle is also for sale locally, I reserve to end the auction early.
