Vehicle Detail
- 1976 Honda CB750K - 3500 miles since being completely rebuilt and restored Paint has ALOT of metal flake and the pictures don't due it justice Engine numbers match frame numbers Clear green Michigan title Bone stock engine and all OEM parts used- except for the pipes, rear shocks, turn signals, and mirror Runs and rides excellent Cylinders honed with new stock 'Honda' pistons and rings Cam saddle bolt holes in the head are heli-coiled for better strength Valves laped Valve stem guides in very good condition Engine cases split and cleaned Rod bearings and crank bearings inspected and are in very good condition Transmission inspected, all gears, dogs and windows are excellent New complete 'Barnett' clutch pack and springs All new engine gaskets and seals All aluminium covers polished All stainless allen head engine cover bolts Carb boots are good Carbs cleaned and rebuild with new Honda carb kit Carbs synced Bridgestone 'Spitfire' tires - the biggest that will fit in the front and rear New tire tubes Nickel plated heavy duty o-ring chain Brand new gel-cell battery @ $80 New rear shocks Front forks polished and rebuilt with new hardware and seals, fork tubes are like new! Master cylinder and front caliper rebuilt New front pads and new shoes on the rear New side cover grommets and rear tank rubber New gas cap and locking latch New ignition LOTS of new stainless and chrome hardware Exhaust is not open, small glass-packs are installed inside the tips - sounds very good without being obnoxious to neighbors The bad news is - upon close inspection of the paint, some hairline cracks can be seen in the clear coat around the front sides of the tank, the bottom of right side cover, and back side of the front fender. The right side cover also had been cracked in the front edge, it has been repaired by welding the plastic and fiberglassed on the back side. The paint was repaired and cleared smooth, but is still visible in the metalic coat. The blemishes bother me, but most people don't notice and think I'm OCD when I point them out. I made the pictures of the cracks look as bad as possible to clearly show whats there. Standing next to the bike they dont show that well. I rode this bike to a number of rallys, poker runs, and other events last year. It definitly draws attention, even respect from the Harley crowd!
