Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a mint restored first year ever produced 1973 Honda ATC 70 serial #ATC70-1000158. This is a stunning show piece that's been professionally restored. This ATC is numbered #158 off the Honda assembly line, this is the lowest number ATC 70 I've ever seen. No expense spared in this restoration, everything was stripped to bare metal, PPG epoxy primed and top coated with a PPG DBC urethane base coat clear coat system. Fenders are high quality aftermarket fiberglass. Scuff plate was custom made because they are impossible to find in decent shape. Everything else is original or NOS Honda. Every part of this ATC has been restored with the exception of the rear chrome grab bar, it's impossible to find and I found one late in the build and never had a chance to have it rechromed. It has a bit of road rash but is still very presentable. Gas tank was restored to new and lined with POR 15 tank sealer. This ATC ran perfect before the restoration but has not been started since completion of the restoration. I had no intentions of riding it, I built it as a display piece for my collection and never attempted to start it, It sat in my game room. Some of the NOS and new aftermarket parts include new bars, bar levers, gas cap, grips, foot pads, throttle and stop wsitch assembly, tires, wheel, hub, fork and axle bearings and seals. This is your chance to own an awesome piece of Honda history. Please look the pictures over well and ask any questions before you bid. Good luck and thanks for looking.
