Its a nice drive and enjoy quality car, by this I mean it looks good, it drives good, its just not perfect. The pictures make it look perfect it is not, it has a couple of dings, some chips, a few pits in the chrome, but it still looks real good. It runs good, it stops good, it drives good, it looks good until you inspect and you will find the minor imperfections. VIN 21847L212911 MILEAGE: 89,303 and who really know. WILL I SELL THIS CAR DIRECT OFF EBAY MOTORS? Yes, I not crazy I want to sell the car, I know lots of you guys are not registered on ebay and just use it as a research tool. I'm not worried about feedbacks and all the ebay rules and such. HISTORY: We bought this car from a friend in southern Ohio. My description is based on my inspection and test drive. TITLE: Clear title in hand with a VIN that matches. IS THERE ANY RUST PROBLEMS? I consider this a good solid car. The frame, the floors, the trunk, under the rear window all look good. The floors look original and good, the under side in not detailed slick and shinny, but its solid, it has never had thick under coating so you can see the panels, they are rusty color in some places, but solid. DOES THE CAR HAVE BONDE/BODY FILLER? Of course it does, have you ever seen one that has none, I havn't, but it has no bubbles, no swelled places, its about as good as you will find. If somebody tells you thier car has none, you had better be alert. IS THERE ANY ACCIDENT DAMAGE? None that I can find. WHY AM I SELLING THIS CAR? I’m a classic car restorer, but when I find a vehicle I like and can sell for a fair market price, I buy it fix a few things and resell. PAINT: I consider the paint good driver quality, just to look at the car it looks great, it shines good, it has no big dents, it is straight to look down the sides. Under inspection you will find minor orange peel (it has never been buffed), you will find some touched up chips and a couple of very small dings. Its good drive and enjoy quality paint, not roll out of the trailer show queen paint that cost $20,000. CHROME: The chrome is also driver quality, the bumper bright, but have 2 or 3 little scuffs and some super minor pitting. The window trim is nice other than a ding in the back right side window trim. The grill is pretty good, the door handle have some pits, the side trim very good. INTEROR: Decent interior, no real wear, the red is a little faded, the black is nice, the headliner very good, carpet good, door panels good. UNSERSIDE: Nice and solid, but not show deatailed and not covered up with thick under-coating. The frame looks good, the floors also look real good. GLASS: The side windows roll up and down good, the windshield is clear, but has a minor wiper mark and a very tiny stone chip. SOUND SYSTEM: Not working. ENGINE: The engine is a good running 283 with a 4 barrel carburetor, it has no unwanted rattles or noises and no blue smoke. Its a good engine! EXHAUST SYSTEM: Nice sounding exhaust system, it has the Muscle car sound. The mufflers look to be by Flow Master. TRANSMISSION: Good shifting 2 speed Power Glide, automatic. REAR-END: No whines or growls, its looks original. BRAKES: The front brakes have been upgraded to disc and a power booster added. STEERING: The steering is good, the car is power steering. WHEELS AND TIRES : Rally wheels, the tires are good. LIGHTS and wiring: The head lights work, the tail lights work the brake lights work and the turn signals work, but are on a switch under the dash, the interior lights work. THE speedometer is working, the wiper motor is toast (not working), the horn works, the heater blower motor works, the gas gauge floats and reads too low, it need a new sending unit. Why don't I fix everything? Because I don't have time and the car will sell anyway. None of the defects affect driving and enjoying the car. GUAGES: The oil, temp and charge are mounted in a pod under the dash and work, "OLD SCHOOL". HOW DO THE DOORS AND HOOD OPEN AND CLOSE? They open and close good, the drivers door closes real good, but if you lift up and down I can feel a little play in the bushings. TRADES: Please no trades, they never work out and are just too hard! They have to be very critical to cover their back sides and most are only concerned about is getting paid. I understand how hard it is to buy a car without looking, but I think you should come look yourself. I don’t like paid inspectors, I like for the person that is buying to inspect for themselves. I think its fine to send a friend to inspect for you. To make it clear, don’t hit the buy now button and then inspect, come inspect first!
