Easy starting, easy to maintain, smooth running, and this one certantly is. The 1978 was the last year for the classic Triumph Tiger, and it incorporates all the improvements made throughout the years. This particular example is one of the best I have ever seen, it is in original paint, the chrome is flawless, the decals, rubber, everything is in great shape, it will will a show with ease. The only non stock item is the Electronic ignition and matching coils, which is a good thing, see the bulletins from the owner's club. It has a NEW orginal Amal concentric carburator, a NEW correct wiring harness, and a recently done top end, and very nice Dunlop tires. It has a new battery. The bike starts on the first kick, idles smoothly and pulls strongly through all five gears., IT IS NOT A CHOPPER THAT HAS BEEN BROUGHT BACK, but rather a meticulously maintained original bike. There are no flaws, there is nothing requiring an apology. You could look for years and never find one in this shape.
