One super nice and original 1950 Pontiac 4 dr. sedan.. This Pontiac only has 42,693.7 miles on the odometer.. Even the new car smell back in 1950 is still present, along w/ the original hydramatic transmission shifting instructions attached to the drivers side visor.. No rust issues.. The pontiac has had one new paint job since new.. No bondo.. 4 dr. sedan and all doors operate perfectly smooth and tight as are the windows.. Door jambs were never painted and show the original color gold.. Inside the trunk you'll find nothings been tampered with since new.. Even all the cardboard is still present.. Underneath the trunk lid is the comfort & convenience package from the factory in its untouched condition.. The engine runs perfectly fine & strong.. It's the straight inline 6 cylinder flathead w/ the 4 spd. hydramatic transmission.. Take a peak at the perfectly preserved dash.. Yes, untouched and beautiful.. Steering wheel is still as smooth as glass w/ no wear, cracks, nicks, scraps and/or chips.. All gauges function as they should and are correct.. I couldn't get underneath the dash to take photos, but it has never been touched.. No moisture ever under there.. This pontiac was always garaged and you car tell.. A fancy sunvisor w/ the dash board traffic light magnifer.. This car never had carpet.. Floor is covered w/ its original rubber matting and sound deadener underneath.. This old 50's pontiac runs & drives excellent.. Known issues.. Drivers side front windshield glass is cracked.. There's a slight bend in the passengers side front grill where it just wraps around the fender.. Nothing serious at all.. It had the rear fender skirts, but the estate folks tossed them out.. Front & rear bumpers are starting to peel just a little bit, but still show excellent.. Muffler has a minor rattle (Loose) connection is all.. Radio light turns on, but radio doesn't play.. Dome light needs a bulb (6v) Drivers door will require a weatherstrip (rubber) The one thats on there is cracking, but it's there and still solid.. All other doors and weatherstripping are just fine.. All other seals all are in great condition and are original to the car.. Close these windows and it's dead quiet inside the car.. Spare tire & all jacking items are in place and in great condition.. If your grand parents or your great grand parents had a 1950 Pontiac Silver Streak ?? This is the one for you.. Drive ANYWHERE and enjoy !! You're more than welcome to come and check this time capsule out.. Fly in and drive it home.. Tires, wheels etc, etc.. all in good condition..
