Vehicle Detail
1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z-28 Cortez Silver with Black stripes. Matching numbers, Protecto plate, Documentation, Stored since 1995. Original 302 engine, Recently completed re-build, Same owner since 1971. Has original smog pump, New polyglass tires, Rally wheels, Original interior, Original spare tire, GM Chambered exhaust, Appears to be original paint, If not, it has been many years since any paint work. A REAL BARN FIND. ITS THE REAL DEAL, I CAN DOCUMENT THE LIFE OF THIS CAR.....On May-09-13 at 17:21:29 PDT, seller added the following information: I have a certified letter for a recall campaign for a motor mount in 1972 from GM (motor mount that was replaced) and still have the motor mount. The reason I freshened the motor, when I started it for the first time in 20 years a valve stuck and bent a push rod. So I sent it to a PRO machine shop and spent $3,000.00 in machine work and haven't driven it one mile. Only bored .30 new pistons, rods , heads redone, very stock. The chambered exhaust are GM bought in 1972.On May-10-13 at 12:15:30 PDT, seller added the following information: I took more pics of dash and of the the AM/FM radio with hanging tag, also under hood original firewall stamping, and though of little $ value I put pics of some of the original parts that came on the car new from the owner, he kept the factory clutch disc, original silver grille, round Hurst shifter, origianl trans mount, waterpump, door mirror, washer reservoir, rear speaker, and all the original heat shields from the exhaust manifolds. I literally took this car from an old building it had been in for over 30 years in Cotton Valley La.,As you can see after it started up it had no brakes so I put a new master cylinder and rubber brake lines on it, and a new alternator and battery and have only driven it in my driveway. It came with brand new Polyglas tires from the ownerand the original Rallye wheels, I have not tried to wax or buff it, it will help it but in case somebody wanted to paint it I left it alone with the 30 year old glaze. There is not another unrestored Z like this anywhere on Ebaywith all the original parts off the car
