2000 XK8 convertible -- 115,000 miles -- Clean and Clear title in hand - Priced for a quick sale. Clean Carfax available on request. I have had the car since 2005 - selling because I have 3 jaguars and orders that 1 needs to go. If you know anything about these cars you know that the engine is the big question, This car is Post-Nikasil -- AND it has had the timing chain and tensioners done by a Jaguar Specialist. Also it has had a new throttle body. These are the major issues with this car, so you can purchase in confidence that the big issues should not be a problem. Also the convertible top opens and closes. BUT (and you knew there was a BUT didn't you) It is a 14yr old car - There is also a couple of issues that need attention. I want to be 100% honest - if you are looking for a "Cream Puff" (hate that term) then this is not for you, but then again its not a $10K car:- - Drivers Seat has a couple of half inch tears in the side of the seat - but the seat back and bottom are in great condition! - will post pics - Air is not working - not sure what the issue is - The Passenger rear window regulator needs replacing - both front windows go up and down no problem - this is only a problem when you put the roof down and even then it can be pulled up/down manually. Right now I do not have the time to get these attended to. If you are mechanically minded (or know enough to be dangerous) then this is a chance to get one of these cars for a great price, or fix up and sell for a profit.
