I consider this a good looking car for a bargain price, but I consider it a Drive and Enjoy Quality Car. Pictures can make a car look perfect. I could sell this car for a lot more if I sugar coated the description, but its what it is. The price is very good for this car, you will have to get real lucky to find a better one for the price. A show car with perfect paint that has a 100 point restoration will cost you lots of money. DRIVE AND ENJOY QUALITY CAR: A drivable vehicle that is functional in driving condition, may look perfect at first glance, but under a critical inspection, it might have flaws or wear. It should be safe to drive, but may need minor repairs cosmetically or mechanically. IS THIS A REAL BOSS? No, it just has Boss stripes and the big 429 Boss scoop. WILL I MAKE A VIDEO AND EMAIL YOU? This is the way I see it, I welcome you to come judge for yourself. I list cars for 21 days, no auction, my buy now price is good and fair, I have sold every car I have every put on the market. I'm not motivated to sell you traders this car at a low ball price. I do sell lots of cars to dealers, because they can make money on them. DO I HAVE TO BUY THROUGH EBAY MOTORS? No, I'm not crazy, I want to sell the car, most guys I sell to are not registered through ebay. IS THERE ANY ACCIDENT DAMAGE? None that I can find. WHY AM I SELLING THIS CAR? I’m a 66 year old retired mechanic/classic car restorer/auto mechanics intructor, when I find a car I like, can sell for a fair market price and make a few bucks, I buy it fix a few things and resell. ENGINE: The engine is a strong running 351 Cleveland, it has no knocks, no bad oil leaks, no bad blue smoke, it has a nice looping cam, it has a Edelbrock aluminum intake, a 4 barrel Edelbrock carburetor, nice die cast valve covers, good hoses and belts. This is a good running Muscle Car engine. PAINT: The paint has a good shine with a lot of metallic, my friend called it a deep cinnamon. It is showing its age, several touched up chips, the car is straight to look down the sides, a few hair line cracks in the paint, a couple of minor dings, but no big dents or rusty places. The black Boss stripes are in good condition. Its just a older paint job, we think about 11 years old. CHROME AND BRIGHTWORK: Over all the chrome would be considered very nice, the bumpers and emblems look real good. INTERIOR: The seat covers are very faded, the headliner good, but not original material, the carpet decent, the dash pad good (missing a Mustang emblem in the center), door panels good. The seats recline, they look like 69 seats, but may be some kind of after market. GLASS: Side windows roll up and down good, the windshield have a couple of faint wiper marks. EXHAUST SYSTEM: The exhaust is in good used condition, it is dual with H pipe and Muscle Car sounding mufflers, I don't know the brand, but they sound good. The headers are full tubes and not coated. TRANSMISSION: Its a 3 speed automatic that shifts good, looks like a C6. REAR-END: Its good with no whines or growels, its a 8 inch and not positive traction. BRAKES: The brakes are power, they are disc in front and drums in the rear. FUEL PUMP AND BATTERY ARE IN THE TRUNK: A lot of Muscle Cars are this way, I don't like it, but lots of guys do. The Holley fuel pump is electric and super loud, the battery starts the car good, but I have a larger one I think I'll put in since there is lots of room. STEERING: The steering is power, I don't like the feel of the steering on these early Mustangs. They are too easy and float on the road, bad engineering by Ford. WHEELS AND TIRES: American Racing wheels in good condition with good radial tires. LIGHTS: The turn signals, brake lights, tail lights, headlights, all work. GUAGES: The oil is on gauge under the dash, the others in dash. SPEEDOMETER WORKS! Tachometer works! GAS is not working, I have a sending unit ordered. RADIO: Not working. HOW DO THE DOORS AND HOOD OPEN AND CLOSE? I think they open and close good for a Mustang. PANEL FIT: They all fit good for a Mustang, this is not perfect, but decent, they were not perfect from the Ford factory. Both rear quarters have been replaced, bottom of a couple of floors have been replace. Some other thin sheet metal repair, but its not covered up with thick under coating. TRADES: Please no trades, they never work out and are just to hard!
