I own this car and I do have a clean & clear Texas Title in hand & ready to turn over to the new owner. Make sure that you add this "NO RESERVE" Auction to your Watch List. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This 1967 CHEVROLET El Camino was Built at the Fremont California GM Plant the 2nd week of March 1967. Originally a Custom-Deluxe 2Dr. Pickup Delivery V-8 Model. It is from and has been in the South Western part of the United States where the climate is nice & dry. I have proof showing the car being from Albuquerque NM and El Paso TX. It has a nice, strong & smooth running SBC 350ci. V-8 Engine with a GM Turbo 400 3spd. Automatic Transmission. The engine and exhaust sounds great running through a new set of Headers with a pair of Glass Pack Mufflers with turn downs. The engine is dependable and it always starts right up with ease and the choke works and function's correctly. The transmission is strong and shifts out good. The oil and oil filter were just changed and the transmission fluid is clean & full. It has Power Steering, HEI Ignition, New Spark Plugs, New Plug Wires, New Fuel Pump, New Fuel Filter & PCV Valve, Stock GM Carburetor & Intake with a Chrome EDELBROCK Air Cleaner and Chrome Valve Covers. This is a good running car that always gets a lot of looks and it is very fun to drive. The Body is solid & dry. The frame is clean and very solid with no sign of rust or rot. The engine and the engine bay are both clean, nice looking and very presentable. It has Custom Interior and Custom Paint. The Interior is nice & clean and it is very hot looking with the Flamed pattern. The custom door panels and the seat have nicely been covered in suede & leather. The door panels and the seat are nice & clean and in great condition. It has a complete set of full functioning GM Seat belts, new headliner, new sun-visors, new dash pad, new carpet, kick panels and a Custom made Center Console with an Original GM T-Handle Floor Shifter. It has Tilt Steering with a nice later model Chevy Steering Wheel, a Sunpro Oil Pressure Gauge and a Temp Gauge. The Paint is a 2 Stage Base Coat-Clear Coat and the Color looks to be a Candy-Burnt Orange Metal Flake/Metallic with a Black Metal Flake/Metallic Stripe down the side. The Paint job shines well and looks to be around 10yrs. old. I would consider the paint & body to be in average to driver quality condition. The paint has chips & scratches here & there. The body, the stainless trim and the chrome do show some signs of age here & there. It has a brand new set of rubber door seals. The door jams are nice & clean and painted black with no signs of rust. The bed is nice & clean. It is rust free and has a nice looking sprayed in bed liner. The tail gate is clean and it opens and closes fine. All of the chrome and all of the stainless trim on this car is complete and appears to be original. The windows roll up and down with ease and the door open and close fine. It has factory tinted glass that is in good clean condition without having any chips or breaks present. It has set of 4-15" GM Rally Wheels, Center Caps & Rings. Rear wheels are 8" wide Corvette Rallys with 7" wide wheels on front. The rear tires are 275/60R/15 DAYTON-DAYTONA SR's and have nice tread. Front tires are 215/65R/15 GOOD YEAR VIVA Z's. The steering wheel is centered and true when driving down the road. It has a new idler arm and a new center-link. All of the front suspension was recently lubricated and seems to be good and tight. It has New Rear Shocks, and a Original GM-10 Bolt Rear End. The Original Drum Brakes stop nice and work well. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a 46yr. old used automobile that is in Good Running & Driving condition. I am selling this car to be a complete, running and driving project because as with any used car there is almost always something that could use to be changed, replaced or that may need to be fixed eventually. Here are a few things that I think could use attention eventually. The car starts right up and it does run & drive fine as it is right now. It has a SONY AM/FM Cassette that needs wired,The heater is by passed, the front tires are good enough to drive on but maybe have about 50% tread left, I do not have a spare tire or spare wheel, The speedometer needs hooked up, The lights and the horn work, the wipers are on a switch, The glove box will open but could use a new lock and the vent window latch is missing on the drivers side. The pictures that you see here are current and were just taken to show you the actual condition that the car is as of right now. I currently have the car cleaned, detailed, covered and parked in my climate controlled garage waiting for a new owner.
