What is honest representation worth? You decide. What is the fact that the car still looks this awesome after being restored over 15 years ago? You decide. There are different factors you have to look at when determining what to pay: This car has NEVER NEVER been in the salt or snow. This car is a TRUE daily driver. It is NOT an auction car. It hasn't been flipped 20 times in the past 20 years. It's been WELL LOVED and CARED FOR. The car is a HEAD TURNER. The paint and quality is AMAZING and EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE stares at this car because the colors are SO LIKEABLE!! The owners, in their 70's kept amazing documentation and notes on this car. Being VERY wealthy, they hated to part with it. I talked with him for a long time and due to the fact that he lived on a gravel road, he did not want to ruin this car. I sell over 50 cars a month and have a 100% feedback rating with OVER 50 vehicle sales on ebay. With that being said, this car is FAR BETTER than the average just because of what is mentioned here. I am asking only 50% of what everyone is asking for these online. I price cars to sell them ASAP. This one is a STEAL at $12,999. Everyone who actually has the money to buy a classic has $12,999. Don't pass on it if you want a nice one! You can shop and shop and shop and not find another car THIS HONESTLY REPRESENTED. It's the ONLY way I do business!! You know what you get on this car. 86 High Quality Pictures (scroll next to the pictures to see all of them!!). Won't last at this price! Up for auction is a beautiful car that attracts unbelievable attention at ANY angle. This is an Arizona/California car it's whole life until a few years ago when brought to South East South Dakota. It has NEVER seen salt or snow. Nothing is rust free at this age, but it would be described as rust free as a general description!! Absolutely a 100% Clean and Eye catching and RARE condition 1957 Ford Fairlane. The paint is AMAZING compared to others - no runs - etc. It was done at the highest quality short of concourse. I am a used car dealer in Northeast Nebraska and buy all of my cars from new car dealers. This car was traded into the local new car dealer by an elderly couple (3rd owners) in which they traded it in very reluctantly for a like new 02 Ford T-Bird convertible. they purchased this car in 1997. I was able to buy the car directly from the dealer. The car runs and drives excellent. It shifts nice and starts perfect everytime. The interior is in unreal extremely nice condition as is the entire car. I do believe it is road ready for a trip anywhere. The owners drove it 70 miles to trade it in, and I drove it around 100 miles myself and had no issues with starting, running, driving, braking, or anything else. It runs great. The car has tons of records and documentation. There are also pictures of the restoration. The car is sold as is and with no warranty. Inspections are welcome and encouraged. "One mans's poison is another mans's meat". I have very high taste and EXTREMELY high standards of integrity and representation, but yours may be different. Please call with any questions at 712-333-5897. You may take the car to any mechanic or expert you wish. Shipping is buyers responsibility. I will of course assist to make it a great experience. My Contact information is via eBay and as follows : Mark Charlson - Owner, Highway 9 Auto Sales, 59007 Highway 9, Ponca, NE 68770. Phone 402-755-2891 or Cell 712-333-5897. $1000 non refundable deposit due within 24 hours of auction close (you may use PayPal). Balance due within 7 days. I have NO DOC FEES or extra FEES. What you pay is your final cost due to me. I am selling this at a VERY LOW PRICE for the QUALITY, so please do not expect Concourse Quality. I did not undercoat the bottom, and as any 1957 car you would expect that it is not new. The engine is original (I was told) and I think never rebuilt. There are drips when left parked on concrete, etc. There is surface rust underneath, etc. I cannot get the trunk to open with the key - I did not want to break trunk getting it open. I talked to the owner and it opened perfectly when he traded it in, but the salesman must have messed it up because the key just spins in the lock. The trunk are is pristine as the rest as what the owner said. The radio powers but does not get stations. It was converted to AM FM but when he broke and replaced the antenna, it started acting up. When at idle the generator light flashes a little, I assume from the idle could use turned up. It puffs smoke when started. Probably when driving also - not a chimney, but there will be puffs. I want the car buyer to be HAPPY with this purchase, so these are the flaws I noticed on the car. I want a happy buyer. This is a VERY RARE CONDITION and BEAUTIFUL and VERY EASY TO WORK ON 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 2 Door for just $12,999. I can't imagine ANY BETTER investment or fun for the money! Good luck!! Read below for the previous owners description!!! Here is what the owner put together as a sheet he made for the next owner:
