For Sale 2001 Impala Sedan Medium Brown Metallic, with 3.8 L engine and 4 speed automatic transmission . Car was purchased new with unmarked police package and used in the police department before being retired from service and used in the Codes Department. Car has cloth interior that is not torn, but has pretty extensive soiling, especially along back of Drivers seat. Factory floor mats are very dirty, but carpet underneath is in pretty good condition, but could use cleaning. Steering wheel has obvious wear, and the passenger side visor is very bad condition but still functions. Ash tray at rear of consol is broken. Car exterior has a few small bumper scuffs and a number of small hail dents on the trunk, hood and roof. Hood has a dent on front edge. Only pictures were taken while car was wet from rain. Mechanically the car has a small oil leak. According to the mechanic shop we have taken the car to, the car has an aftermarket catalytic converter that causes the engine light to display, on a regular basis. The brakes are past due for replacement. The tires are still serviceable , but need balancing, and the wheel covers are there but showing their age. This car had a lot of use, but with under 75,000 miles on the odometer, should fix up , as a economical transportation vehicle.
