Thia is a bike I said i would never sell. However, after trip to child support court, learning I have arrearages that I have to pay changes everything. So... For sale 1982 Honda CBX. I have owned this bike for approximately 5 years. When I purchased the bike from the previous owner it had under 17,000 miles. The previous owner had the carburetors rebuilt, had the front fork seals redone and had the Fuel valve replaced. At 23,257 Miles I replace the rear tire And replaced the spark plugs. At 26,995 Miles I Replace the front tire. At 27,310 Miles I Replaced the chain And the front and rear sprockets. I've always kept the oil and filter changed every 3000 to 3500 miles. At 28,898 I replaced the rear shock oil and re-grease the rear suspension. At 29,229 miles I replaced the fork oil. I also rebuilt the rear master cylinder and rebuilt the front master cylinder and replace the reservoir and cap With new OEM. I Also Installed a new AGM battery. Also replace the rifle windshield. The bike has a Corbin seat however I do have the original one I also have an extra set of bags for the bike it has the Original toolkit and air pressure gauge. The only thing that needs to be replaced is to choke cable it works however the end next to the lever is getting a little frayed. The bike rides, runs and shifts great With no issues. I ride this bike often so it does not sit around that's the worst thing you can do with these bikes is to let them sit. The mileage is true and correct. As you can tell in the pictures the bike has a few scratches on the bags and a little on the front fender and a couple other little nicks here and there. No Dents. The bike is in excellent shape for the year. The exhaust has had part of the rear baffle cones removed. So the bike is louder than factory however not much louder. Nothing like straight pipes just has a little more throatier sound. You can get on this bike and ride anywhere without any worries.
