1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1. Factory option list included Mach 1 Option package, 351W V8, FMX Auto Transmission, 9” Axle. A/C, Power Front Disc Brakes / Rear Drum, Exterior was Red with Matte Black Mach 1 Accents. Restoration of this mustang began in 2004, reaching completion in 2010. 95% of this car is either new, or rebuilt. All modifications were executed with an approach that would allow it to be converted back to “factory original” if ever desired. Modifications were done in a tasteful manner with a focus on reliability, handling, safety, and overall performance. Approximately 5000 easy miles have been driven following the completion of this "frame-off" restoration and drivetrain build. (odometer reads 55,xxx miles) Build details are itemized below and pictures give representation to level of detail and amount of work that went into this 6yr restoration. Contact me and will provide whatever additional information you may desire. Body/Paint: · Complete restoration executed over 6 year project span · All body panels were repaired as required. Hundreds of hours invested in perfected each panel including engine bay, inner wheel wells, and many other surfaces that are not even visible after finished assembly · Original torque boxes & frame rails in excellent condition · All new exterior chrome and trim. Absolutley no dents, dings, scrapes, etc. The exterior is a 10 · Engine Bay was stripped to bare metal and repaired as required. · Body finished in “Indy Yellow Effect” paint which includes gold metallic flake - · Mach 1 stripe and black accent package · New windshield, Original rear and side glass. New chrome and weatherseals on all glass and door seams. Interior: · 100% New Mach 1 Interior package o Re-upholstered Seats, o New Carpet & Headliner o New Dash pad o Several misc new interior components including switches, trim pieces, window cranks, door handles, etc. · Shelby gauge pod addition to center console for engine temp & oil pressure · Rebuilt factory center console with leather shifter boot over Hurst chrome shifter · Vintage-look 5spd shift knob · Heater box rebuilt with new gaskets, heater core, vacuum lines, vent lines, etc. · All interior a/c components remain. (No engine bay A/C parts installed, so total A/C package is non-functional as-is, but could easily be made to function with the addition of under-hood components) · Several new switches and control components replaced with new · Sony X-Plod sound system. Single CD with additional rear speakers and remote control.
