Vehicle Detail

1931 FORD COUPE/ROADSTER RAT ROD PROJECT 302 V8 AUTOMATIC TRAN’S PROJECT CAR Let me start out by saying I am listing this car for a friend and all questions should be directed to him by phone and his name is Roger and his phone # is 231-865-7448 he is the owner/builder of this car and can answer any questions you might have about this car. This car will be sold with a bill of sale only as there is not a title for the car. So call him don’t email me I won’t be able to answer any questions about the car besides what is written here………………………….. What we have here is a 1931 ford coupe that has the top cut off so Roger decided to make it into a roadster and I think he did a pretty good job of it but keep in mind that this is a project car and it has only been lot driven and might not be roadworthy yet so bid with that in mind and there are no Guaranty’s of any kind on this Car. This car has an original model A frame that has been boxed in to handle the added torque of the 302 and it has a c-4 automatic trans and it seems to run pretty good with no smoke that I noticed but the water pump pulley and the crank pulley are slightly touching each other and that makes a little noise but it makes less and less noise the more it runs and the more they wear in to each other and besides that “noise” the motor internals are quiet. It has a 9” limited slip rear end out of a 1969 bronco but I don’t know what the gear is. The front suspension is original model-A with 1940 ford juice drum brakes The transmission is a c-4 auto with a new torque converter but he does not know the year of but it goes into all gears and Reverse as it should. The wheels are 1986 ford truck wheels and the tires are fair Now the seat is a third row seat out of a dodge caravan and it fits nice with the original model-A steering column and steering wheel and the rest of the interior is custom built too. The console has a oil and temp gauge built in to it and it uses the original model-A gas tank and the gauge even still works. It does not have any side glass in the doors and the outside door handles are dummies because it does not have any door handles for the inside of the doors but they are held shut with barrel bolt lock’s. It has new carpet in the cab and the trunk and it also has a new custom top that was made to fit this car but it does not have any windshield wipers or hardware for the wipers and it does not have a speedo cable but it is a rat-rod so you don’t need to see how fast your going anyway. The top does not fold up but it is removable and it only takes a few minutes to remove if you want. There is a lot of new parts on the car and here is a list: Lights and mirrors Windshield All new brake lines and hoses New brake linings in the front Master cylinder and wheel cylinder’s Pick-off roadster top Water pump Patch panels and front shocks Aaauuugaa horn For any questions about the car you can call Roger at 231-865-7448 Remember it will be sold with a bill of sale only……………….
