An affordable driver quality mid-year Corvette has become increasingly hard to find. This is a very nice 1964 Roadster that will be a good value for the next owner. A long term previous owner maintained this car very well and the important issues of concern on a classic Corvette purchase are of no concern on this car. To begin with, this car has a solid, rust and damage free frame and absolutely no previous repairs. The body is very good with all original front body panels original to the car. The right rear shows some fiberglass repair likely done long ago but actually nothing extensive . Paint is fair and presentable as a driver but has some chips, small cracks and overall is showing its age. Car has both tops but soft-top needs replaced having a few small tears. Interior is very nice, looks to have had correct seats covers done some time ago. Dash, gauges radio and interior trim are all really nice. The car has 67 Corvette style rally wheels with caps and rings. Also the car has factory Corvette side exhaust in excellent condition. The motor is a 1964 327 cubic inch 300 horsepower engine but not the original one to the car. Motor runs excellent, good oil pressure, no issues of performance or reliability. Transmission and differential are original to the car and in excellent condition. We just completed a complete brake system original that included new master cylinder. Wheel cylinders, brake hoses and more to yield a perfectly operating brake system. This last work was what was needed to make the car safely drivable and enjoyable.
