Vehicle Detail
RELISTED due to an error on my part in the original listing that i had to correct per the rules. Sorry for all that had already bid. Up for grabs is my 1983 DODGE POWER RAM W150 4x4 that comes with a Big Block Mopar 400 and is sitting on a 4" lift and 33" inch tires. Ya dont see too many of these done with a Big Block Mopar. There has been alot replaced on the truck underneath as far as new dual exhaust, brake lines, brakes, and drums. I am selling the truck due to high gear going bad in the tranny that is in the truck currently. Low gears and Reverse still work fine. I have already purchased a Good Mopar 727 short shaft 4wd transmission with 2200 stall converter and 203 Transfer case from a donor truck with a blown engine. Motor is OUT of the truck, so the good donor Short shaft 727 truck transmission and Big Block mopar 400 engine just need to be put back in. The motor is still complete and together with Carburetor to oil pan and fan in front. While its out i would regasket and seal it but thats me. I am not currently in a situation where i can get it done and put back in anytime soon so instead of letting the truck still sit, i just decided to give someone else a chance at it. Overall the truck is in fairly decent shape. I am not claiming it to be perfect or rust free. It does have a few dings, scratches, dents and small rust spots, but i want you to show me a 30 year old Four wheel drive that doesnt have these issues. It is a project that has alot of potential to be a very tough truck. Anyone interested can surely come by and preview the truck if you want. The title does show reconstructed due to a flaw when titled in PA, they mistyped a 05 for a DS which has been fixed and it was registered and tagged as of this past year so there isnt any issues with putting it on the road. I have the recent registration to prove it. I am selling it in as is condition and with NO RESERVE!!!! I have a very low start price to give everyone a chance at a nice project truck. Highest bidder gets to take her home. Thanks and good luck bidding. On Apr-17-13 at 18:44:44 PDT, seller added the following information: For anyone interested, I encourage anyone interested to come see the truck in person and touch and feel it for yourself so that you know what you are bidding on. It does need some work and tlc but it sure will be a very nice truck to profile around in once its back up and running. I just want to make sure that anyone that bids knows that the engine is NOT currently in the truck. It needs to be reinstalled. I will help with loading the truck but shipping it is solely up to whoever buys it. Thanks again. On Apr-22-13 at 19:33:10 PDT, seller added the following information:Thanks again to all who have emailed already about the Dodge W150. I am getting alot of emails asking the same things over and over. I am getting the feeling that some who are interested in the truck are thinking that its ready to drive home or that it doesnt need any work done to get it back on the road. WRONG. This truck is sold as a PROJECT. NOT a daily driver. I in no way want to seem misleading about it so i just want to clarify some things about the truck. The pictures can hide alot and i dont feel comfortable with that. It does have some rust spots on the body but the frame is very solid and intact. The tires have great tread but do have some dryrot in them due to age. The front core support has been modified to accept a Big Block fitting into it and the radiator. The Engine, which is a 400 mopar stock 2 Barrell engine, is recommended to be rebuilt and gone through as well as the Transmission just to ensure that both are going to be reliable when you are ready to hit the road. They have both been out of the truck and sitting in a shed for basically a year. The truck was registered and tagged last year but it was not driven due to the Transmission going bad. Please know that i am NOT trying to hide anything and i want to answer all questions the best i can. I just dont want anyone thinking this is a show ready truck. Thanks again and good luck bidding.
