Vehicle Detail
This is an amazing bike, and it kills me to sell it. Unfortunately, arthritis in my neck has progressed to the point where I cannot wear a helmet for longer than 30-40 minutes without severe discomfort. Enough to park the bike for the last year, and finally sell it. I'm not getting better, and I'm not going to let the bike collect dust until it's worthless. I cannot say enough about the bike. This is my fourth, and favorite. I am 6' 2", and it fits me perfect. The riding position is so comfortable you can ride forever. There is enough travel in the suspension that you hardly notice a passenger. It has somewhere around 110 hp, and can run with the sport bikes all day. It is simply a blast to ride, and I love how it looks too. It has a fuel injected triple (in-line 3 cylinder), anti-lock brakes (which are awesome in gravel/wet) and chain drive (the only thing I don't like..) If you want all the specs, please visit the Triumph website - they still make/sell this model. I am starting the bidding at the price I will accept for the bike (plus the ebay $125 fee) - please no low balls. I will not deliver - the insurance and registration have expired. NO TEST RIDES - for the same reason. There is one small spot on one of the side cases where it got scratched in the garage - I sanded it back, but never bought the touch-up paint. You can hardly notice it, but I figured I would mention it. It is on the front of the left bag - you can see it in the photos. Everything else is perfect. Exactly what you would expect from a garage-kept, dealer-serviced, 4500 mile bike. There is no warranty with this bike, unless the dealer didn't tell me something. Please ask questions before bidding - save us both the trouble. If the bike sells locally, I reserve the right to end the auction early. I will not accept a return, and I don't think you will find any reason to do so. Please check the Triumph website for more details about the bike itself. I bought it at Hermy's in Port Clinton - you can call them too, and probably stop by and test ride one of theirs. Thanks for looking, and happy bidding.
