Vehicle Detail
1967 Vw Bus located in El Dorado CA. 1/2 hour east of Sacramento. An early Vw bus for you to finish the way that suits you. Vw season is here! This is your chance to own a very dry Type 2. This bus has been off road for quite some time when I found it. Although it Runs, steers and stops, I've only driven it around the nieghborhood. It will need some work to be a daily driver. Powered by a newly rebuilt single port 1600 Stock "Big Nut" transaxle works as it should. Licensed and registered with a clear title in California. Master cyl, wheel cyl, brake lines, and brake shoes all recently replaced. Body is solid with minimal rust. Straight roof with no rust. Roof rack included. Although windshields are out, they are included. All other glass in intact. All pop-outs work as they should. Rear bumper is included. Rear tires dry rotted. Wiring is a mess. Perhaps some one who knows wiring better could figure it out. If I were to keep it, I would put in a new harness. Bus does start, run, stop, and steer, but there are no lights or gauges hooked up. Under carridge, dog legs, inner rockers and jack points are solid. (see pics) Rust in the front floor, outer rockers, bottom of cargo doors, and battery tray. (see pics) Drivers rear corner has bondo on it. (see pics) The nose has been replaced with an original nose. It could use some finishing on the seems, or drive as is. (see pics) Only front seat is included, and it needs recovering. Drivers door and bottom hinge are tweeked a bit making the door somewhat hard to close. Theres not too much to finish to make this bus a great daily driver. I want bidders to know exactly what your getting. If your in the area, please contact me to come check it out. Although Im not very knowlegdeable on Vw's, I'll be glad to answer questions to the best of my ability. Thanks for your time.
