WILL I SELL DIRECT OFF EBAY? I'm not crazy, the car is for sell on ebay or off. I know lots of you guys are not registered on ebay and are afraid to buy through them. I will work with you. I DO NOT SHOW CARS ON SUNDAY!!!!! I worship on sunday, I spend time with my family and I rest. I'm 66 years old, I'm a retired auto mechanics instructor and was a Chinnok helicopter mechanic and instructor in the Army. I'm doing this because I love it and I need a day off. TITLE: The title matches the VIN on the car, I have the clear title in hand. We are just a father/son operation working out our garage, but I have dealers license to keep things legal, car will be sold by me as a dealer, but no fees or taxes unless you live in Tennessee. IS THERE ANY RUST PROBLEMS? This is no rust bucket, the underside looks good, "extra good", but not sanded smooth and detailed for show. No rusted holes or rust bubbles in the paint. It is no rust bucket, it look like the original floor pans and quarter panels to me. IS THERE ANY ACCIDENT DAMAGE? None that I can find. WHY AM I SELLING THIS CAR? I’m a retired mechanic/auto-mechnic instructor/was a Army helicopter mechanic and instructor. When I find a truck or car I like for a good price I buy it fix things and resell for a fair profit. IS THIS A REAL Z28? No! No! No! Its just a good replica, or you may want to say a good copy. PAINT: The the paint has a brillant shine, no rust bubbles, the car is straight to look down the sides. The stripes are painted on and under the clear coat, the door jambs and undersides are painted good. CHROME: All the chrome is nice, some minor dings in the window stainless, but the bumpers and emblems look like new. INTERIOR: No smoke smell, new seat covers with no wear, new carpet, dash has no cracks, the headliner is the original and very good other than some stains. The console is not factory, its a pretty good fabrication job. UNSERSIDE: Clean and neat, but not painted shinny to put mirrows under the car at a car show. Its not a rust bucket, its not covered up with under-caoting to hide problems, its not beautiful, but good. I think the floors are original GLASS: The side windows roll up and down decent. The windshield looks good with no wiper marks or cracks, it does have a super tiny stone chip on the lower right edge about 1 inch in, it out of the viewable part of the windshield unless you look at the fender. ENGINE: Engine is a 350 and its been rebuilt, I have no documentation. I don't know the horsepower, but its very good. It has a Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor on the original GM intake, the carburetor is OK, but a new one always makes them run better. The hoses and belts have been replaced. EXHAUST SYSTEM: Great sounding dual exhaust, it has the real Muscle Car sound, its loud and deep, the headers are full lenght tubes, the mufflers look like Flow Master. TRANSMISSION: Its a nice shifting Turbo 350, this is a 3 speed automatic. REAR-END: It has no bearing noises, no growls, it is a 10 bolt. BRAKES: Good, they are power assisted and drums all around, the power booster is one of the aftermarket additions, it stops good, but I don't like the feel they have, I'm old school. STEERING: The cars drives very easy, it is power steering, I don't like power steering on these old cars, lots of people do, I think it is too easy and has a float feel, I'm old school. WHEELS AND TIRES: The wheels are 15 inch GM Rallies and the tires radial, the rear tires are 255/60/15 and the fronts 235/60/15 LIGHTS: They work, turn signals work, headlights work, tail lights work, brake lights work, dash lights work, dome light works, side marker lights work. GUAGES: Gas gauge works, the oil and temp are in a old school pod under the dash. WIPERS WORK! HORN not working, it because of the junky after market steering wheel horn button! THE GAS GAUGE IS WORKING! Heater works, the fan blows good. HOW DO THE DOORS AND HOOD OPEN AND CLOSE and panel fit? I think the doors fit and open very good, these cars are not perfect like todays cars. You can get a perfect car if you want to pay tons and loads of money. WHY DON'T I FIX EVERTHING ON THE CAR: I have too many projects and there is nothing wrong with the car that will keep you from driving it just as it is.
