1986 Honda TRX250R Racing 4-wheeler ATV Quad 6 speed 2 cycle motor I am the second owner and purchased this in 1988. It was kept at a second home from 1988 until 2000 and then spent 8 years in storage in a family barn. I estimate this has been ridden 200 hours or less since I purchased it in 1988. The front tires are the originals from Honda and still have a lot of tread, and the rears are the Armstrong Turf Tamers that came on this Quad when I purchased it from the original owner. There are no tears on the seat. No cracks on the fenders, which are all original. The fuel tank seams to have small stress cracks on the left hand side curve around the filler cap. I don't believe that these leak. The grab handle in the rear of the quad has been bent slightly upward. Seat still clamps down to original farthest down position. The rear tool compartment is missing, and was not on the Quad in 1988 when I purchased. The frame was painted white prior to my purchasing this Quad, sometime between 1986 and 1987. The fenders have some scratches from use, but no cracks and no 250R decals. This quad is almost completely original except for the FMF intake and reed valve, DG type II exhaust, a rear rock crash plate by CT Products, the foam air filter and and grips. All of the performance upgrades were installed prior to my purchasing the Quad in 1988. I did replace the chain in 1988. The great thing about this Quad is it always runs. It starts on the first kick and runs strong. It is ready to be enjoyed and ridden now. I have a title and bill of sale and this Quad was registered in MA and RI in 1986, 1987, and 1988. The buyer is responsible for providing a $500 deposit within 48 hours of close of auction and communicating shipping or pick-up instructions by the time the deposit is tendered. I never registered the vehicle, and although it was registered in CT prior to me purchasing it in 1988, at that time CT did not issue titles for ATC's at that time.
