Wife quit driving last summer to drive small car to save gas. Had just bought new tires (less than 200 miles on them). So Buick set since last August. Kept started all through last winter, while deciding what to do with it. While idling during colder weather, I went back in the house and forgot it was running for about 20-25 minutes. When I went out to turn it off, noticed the overheating light was on but everything sounded OK. This engine has always ran strong and still sounded like new. About a week later I went out to check where the thermostat was, could not locate visually, so while under the hood I decided to check oil. and noticed oil was milky. So I figure the head gasket must have went bad. It has not been off the property since August, so I don"t think it did any other damage. During that time I tried to roll the window down and the window came off track because of ice. A friend secured the window in place, but said it needed a new regulator. At some point during it sitting the rubber seal popped up a little on sunroof(see picture), causing a small leak when it rain heavy. This vehickle has normal wear with scratches and minor flaws. I work 60+ hours per week and not a very good mechanic. So here is a great chance to have a chance to have a good solid AWD SUV for a very low price and some work. Not driveable. Absolutly 100% as is.
