Vehicle Detail

0 false 18 pt 18 pt 0 0 false false false 1970 International Harvester Travelall - this classic American vehicle, brought to you by the folks who make the best tractors and combines, is all you need to put yourself in a ready state for the Zombie Apocalypse. These IH trucks are very straightforward mechanically. The IH V-392 engine is the epitome of 1960s American engine design large displacement, low compression (8:1), never seeming to strain under any load, engines of this family regularly surpass the 200,000 mile mark with only basic maintenance, i.e. oil changes, and tune ups. Has the preferred TorqueFlight transmission and NP 205 transfer case which makes it bulletproof and with its full floating rear end, triple gas tanks, dual batteries, and spring package was special ordered with towing in mind. This girl has a factory OEM heavy-duty front spring package, and a factory rear helper spring installation listed on the factory Line Setting Ticket. A Kelsey-Hayes trailer brake control is installed under the dash and I regularly pull my vintage Airstream with it, as it was considered the preferred trailer rig in the late 60's / early 70's. I actually have the Motor Trend article from 1970 showing the Travelall win the head to head competition between the 70 Chevy Suburban and Jeep Grand Cherokee with flying colors. This thing is not perfect but it is a solid truck that is tuned really well with tons of style and capability. On Apr-15-13 at 21:11:45 PDT, seller added the following information: Now when I say she is not perfect but it is a solid truck that is tuned really well with tons of style and capability, I am posting more pics, including some of her ugly bits (cosmetics) so that your expectations from my glowing opinion of her are tempered with these added full nude shots. Overall in great shape for who she is, how built she is and where I have her priced (reserve almost met) Please review pics as this truck will be sold "as is" thanks. Also, I meant Jeep Wagoneer, not the Grand Cherokee.
