I am offering for auction my 1978 Fiat 124 Spider. It has a 4-cylinder engine with a smooth shifting 5-speed manual transmission. The car runs and drives well and is currently registered, insured and has a clear title. The vehicle is in good condition and has always been garaged. The convertible top is a replacement in excellent condition. The interior is in good clean condition and features an attractive wooden dash and steering wheel. Driver's side seat cushion has some wear/splitting in the leather. You may want to replace the 90’s vintage AM/FM cassette deck. Windshield and all glass are in good condition. Tires are evenly worn with good tread left. Vehicle is mechanically sound but thermostat and/or radiator fan switch need to be replaced. I have both new parts and will include them in the sale along with original owner’s manual, shop repair manual, Fiat key fob and car cover. The previous owner had the car painted a bright red over its original yellow. There are several spots of surface rust on the rear fenders behind the wheel wells. Overall this is a good looking vehicle. I’ve had my fun with this car but someone who has more time for it will have many more good miles of fun. There is a reasonable reserve and a $250 deposit due within 48 hours of auction close. The balance by certified check or money order is due in full within 7 days of auction close.
