Vehicle Detail
This is a nice looking TR-6 in good condition. The engine runs smooth and strong, and the car drives well. The car is equipped with desirable electronic overdrive and twin Stromberg carburetors. Body, paint and convertible top are in good condition. Windshield is sound but shows some pitting. The interior is clean and in average to good condition for a 40 year old vehicle. Driver’s side seat has some cracks/splits and the seatback has a 5’-6’ cut likely from a back pocketed screwdriver. There is an older AM/FM cassette player that a new owner may want to replace. The white convertible top is a replacement in good condition with the exception of a small tear (1’ – 1 1/2”) and several small punctures on the passenger side rear corner plus a small puncture/dimple on the driver’s side rear. These are the result of the top having been pinched by the frame when it was improperly lowered and they can be patched from the inside. The Uniroyal Rallye Radials show little wear and there is a full size spare. . Also included is a black tonneau cover and a black convertible top boot, original owner’s manual, spiral bound copy of J.H. Haynes Workshop Manual, two Triumph medallion leather key fobs, and a car cover. As the photos show, this is an attractive daily driver. Vehicle is mechanically sound and runs and drives well. It has always been garaged and it is currently registered and insured. The car is fun to drive and needs more regular use than I have time for. The vehicle is sold “as is” with no warranty given or implied. A $250 deposit is required within 48 hours of auction close. The balance to be paid by cashier’s check or money order within 7 days of auction close. Buyer is responsible for pick-up of vehicle within 14 days of auction close. There is a reasonable reserve on the vehicle. You may email me using the link in the seller information section with any questions or if you want additional information.
