Thank you for looking at our auction. ATV: This listing is for a super nice 2008 Honda 250EX Sport ATV with Reverse and Sport Clutch. The 250X or 250EX as it used to be known is a legendary ATV and has been the beginning ATV for many pro riders. It is without a doubt, one of the great sport ATVs of all time. The 250EX is a very peppy 4-stroke that is a blast to ride and will literally last you a lifetime with regular maintenance. It is oil cooled for simplicity and one of the most durable sport ATV engines ever made. The 4-stroke 250cc engine is backed up by the awesome Sport Clutch transmission. Sport Clutch allows new riders to learn the clutch without worrying about stalling, while also giving experienced riders the freedom to shift as they normally would. So Basically you can shift gears with or without using the clutch and the engine won't stall when its in gear and you're stopped. The best part is that, unlike many other sport ATVs, this EX has reverse. Reverse is something no ATV should be without in our opinion. Additionally these ATVs are shaft driven so no chains to maintain. If you are reading this you probably know about Honda's legendary quality. We get to work on every ATV out there and the simple truth is that Honda's are simply a better made product than the competition. Brand New set of Bazooka tires. Of course it does come with a clear title. Condition: This machine is in excellent used condition. This model doesn't come standard with a speedometer or hour meter but based on tire wear and overall condition we'd guess it to have 25-30 hours of use. The engine is perfect and fires immediately. The chassis and suspension are in excellent shape with nothing damaged or broken. It revs perfectly and runs great with no misses, noises, leaks or smoke. The brakes all function perfectly and the suspension is nice and tight with no play in the wheel bearings, tie-rod ends, etc. The wheels are in nice shape and we just installed a brand new set of Bazooka Tires on all 4 wheels. They are new never touched dirt. They are $350 upgrade The plastics are in good shape with a just a few normal scratches and boot marks. Everything on it functions exactly as it should. A new one just like this would set you back around $5000. This one looks new, runs like new and is a chance to get all the features you want at a great price. Accessories: We stock and install all the best ATV accessories. So if you want to add a snow plow, trailer, winch, nicer wheels, etc just drop us a line. We'd be happy to help. I will be happy to work with your shipper within reason to make it go smoothly for you. Details: Overall this is a very nice ATV that will make someone very happy. As for transaction details, We are MLS Powersports, located in Georgetown, Kentucky (40324). We are right off Interstate 75, 15 miles North of Lexington, KY and 75 miles South of Cincinnati, OH. Our preference is that you pick this machine up with cash in person, but we will also accept a certified check, or bank to bank wire transfer. It MUST be paid for (not necessarily picked up) within 7 days of the auctions close. We are willing to ship it but you must make the arrangements. If you pick this ATV up in person, we are required by law to charge you 6% Kentucky sales tax. We will provide the winner with a KY Certificate of Sales tax paid. When you title this ATV in your home state they WILL credit the 6% back to you and you will only have to pay the difference (if there is any) to your local sales tax.(Except in West Virginia) We do this all the time, do not worry, you will not have to pay sales tax twice. If you have it delivered to you, anywhere outside of Kentucky, you do not have to pay Kentucky sales tax but may still have to pay sales tax in your home state. The only other exception to this sales tax rule is a valid state exemption for farm/agricultural use. We don't need a deposit but if we ship, it must be paid in full first. This machine comes with a clean title that is ready to transfer. It will also come with a bill of sale and proof of being lien free. You are welcome to inspect it as long and well as you like before finalizing the deal, but it is used and sells as-is. Canadian Bidders: We sell many ATV's to Canada because it saves you a lot of money. We know the paperwork requirements and what it takes to get it done. However, it is very expensive to have an ATV shipped from door to door due to customs broker fees. If you pick it up yourself or have it shipped to a border town and do your own border crossing you will save thousands vs buying in Canada. We also have a shipper we can direct you to who has many warehouses along the border where it can be shipped to and stored until you pick it up.
