I am reluctantly offering my 1991 Porsche C2 Tiptronic with 66,163 original miles. This car is in excellent condition and as near perfect as a 22 year old car can get. In the last year I have invested approximately $14,000 bringing the car up to it's current state. The car was experiencing the typical oil leaks for this model necessitating a complete engine reseal. During the engine work the heads were removed and a valve job was completed. The cylinder head studs were replaced and new piston rings installed. The case was split and the rod, main and shaft bearings were replaced. Also during the engine work; new lower valve covers, chain rails, distributor caps and rotors were installed. While the engine was out the firewall insulation blanket was replaced as well. The engine runs strong and is dry as a bone. In addition to the engine work the following work was done; new rear brake pads, steering rack boots, new Interstate battery, front and rear hood shocks, wiper blades and the passenger side window switch. The car also sports a new set of Continentals and a fresh four wheel alignment. Everything operates perfectly on the car and it is amazingly tight and rattle free for a car of this age. The paint and body are nearly perfect with just a few tiny chips on the nose from rocks. The car has not been smoked in. After owning a Tiptronic I'm not sure I'll ever own a manual again. It's as much fun to shift, without the hassle of using the tiresome clutch (I'm a woman and wear heels) and if I'm in traffic and don't want to shift I can move it into automatic. I love this car and hate to part with it but I know someone out there will enjoy the heck out of it.
