Vehicle Detail

1967 Camaro RS Rally Sport Coupe. I have owned this car for 30 years. The engine froze around seventeen years ago and the car has been in storage ever since. She has picked up a few minor nicks and dings while in storage. She is a true RS with electric flip in headlights and separate backup taillights. This car came with an inline six cylinder and may have originally had an automatic transmission. She currently has a three-speed transmission. She was originally Butternut Yellow with a black interior. The wheels are ’82-’83 Trans Am “Knight Rider” wheels without the hubcaps in good condition. After sitting for seventeen years the tires were aired up and they have now held air for several months. The tires, while having plenty of tread, are old and should be replaced. I have over a hundred pictures of this car online which can be shared upon request. Decode by theCamaro.com on April 02, 2013 On Apr-03-13 at 05:26:04 PDT, seller added the following information: Just to be clear; the engine in this car does not run. I have not investigated why the engine locked up, but I would assume for this listing that the engine is not repairable. On Apr-07-13 at 18:17:53 PDT, seller added the following information: Some final information, based on questions throughout the week. The quarter panels were replaced in 1985; partial on the passengers side and full on the drivers side. Also in 85, the drivers side rear seat floor pan was replaced and the passengers side was braced (with non GM metal), additionally some work was also done in the trunk (also non-GM metal). Some front end work was done around 1987, I am not sure of the exact details. I know a lot more about this car today than I did one week ago. The car's drive train numbers do not appear to match the cars cowl tag and VIN. This includes the engine, transmission and rear axle; the car originally had a three on the tree, currently has a three on the floor. All the glass is in good shape. If there are any questions, please ask.
